At Locomotive we want you to see lasting results.
That means we’re not always on board for quick fixes and feeling like you need to eliminate entire food groups in order to see the changes you’re looking for.
That said, we want to remind you of something: Making changes takes sacrifice, and making sacrifices are hard.
You may not have to say goodbye to alcohol forever, but you will have to no more often than not.
You don’t have to give up chocolate for the rest of your life, but you can’t keep an open bag of M&M’s at your disposal throughout the day.
You don’t have to eat only broccoli, but you do have to incorporate some vegetables in your diet.
You get the picture. This idea that we can achieve what we want and have it be easy isn’t real.
So if you have a specific goal that you’re trying to attain it’s worth taking an honest look at the sacrifices needed in order to achieve the results you’re looking for (in the time frame you’re looking for).
I have talked to many people who want to lose weight… but also don’t want to spend any time meal prepping, don’t want to eat the same thing every day, don’t want to spend more money on pre prepared food, and still want to see results… I get it, you want it to be more simple and you want to just eat pizza at every meal. But if your goal is truly a priority, you need to pick where you’re willing to sacrifice.
