Dropping some hard to hear truth for you right here:
A diet that only worked for 3 months of your life didn’t really work for you.
Think about that for a second.
We hear a lot of people making claims about how effective certain diets were for their weight loss journey.
“I did keto for 3 months and lost 30 lbs”
“I did a juice cleanse that helped me lose 10 lbs”
“One time I ate nothing but kale for 6 days and lost the most weight I’ve ever lost”
Ok, the last one was for shits and giggles but let’s get back to the point.
We love to point at WEIGHT LOSS as the #1 determining factor for if something was successful or not. And we get it, when you’re losing a lot of weight at once it’s exciting and motivating. However, we want you to think about something. If the diet that you went on was SO GOOD for you, how come you didn’t keep doing it?
It’s almost like working a super hard job for 3 months and saying you made a lot of money and it was a super successful career for you but then never going back to work there again. Was it really a successful career for you, or just a way that you were able to quickly make money in an unattainable manner? Likewise, was that diet really successful for you or was it just that you were able to cut down on a massive amount of calories in an unattainable manner?
Folks, the diet that works for you is the one that you can make a part of your every day life. It’s finding a way of eating that compliments your lifestyle; not the one that requires you to completely change everything you do day in and day out until you simply can’t do it anymore.
Stop looking for quick fixes and start looking to change your life for good.
