Here we are: November.
We are quickly entering the holiday season which means: we’re about to say f*** it to all things health and fitness.
Before you jump ship and give up on reaching any of your goals, we want you to explore the possibility of changing what your definition of success is.
When we think of being successful with our health and nutrition we often look at It on a linear scale. If that bar isn’t trending up then we want to jump ship.
Why 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 this?
Because society has us believing that the only way you can claim success is if you look a certain way, perform a certain way, or fit in to a certain mold.
We’re here to tell you that’s a load of bull, and taking care of your body isn’t always going to fit in to a mold.
Something to think of:
A great goal this time of year is maintaining. This is something that many people don’t consider as we tend to lean towards the all or nothing mindset.
While there certainly is many days in the next two months that going off track might be unavoidable, there are also equally as many (if not more) days that we can dedicate to being as focused as possible.
What we recommend:
Head to your calendar and map out all the days you already know are going to be off days. Think: work parties, holiday parties, holidays etc.
Now check out the days between. How many days do you have left to be focused?
We can free ourselves to enjoy our holiday 100% guilt free while also taking care of our body the best we can the rest of the time.
